The ideal candidate for this role is someone who possesses exceptional technical skills and has a deep understanding of PCB assembly and rework processes. Attention to detail and a strong ability to interpret technical drawings are essential. This position also offers tremendous growth opportunities. As our new venture expands, the right candidate will have the chance to quickly advance to a team leader role, leading a group of skilled PCB assemblers.
Responsibilities.
- Working in a production team, the purpose of the role is to assemble, test, rework and overhaul basic and complex Electronic /
- Electrical Equipment used in various industries in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, including customer specifications
- Assembly, Test, Rework, Overhaul and Inspection of Electrical/Electronic equipment to IPC610 standard.
- Cable Assembly to IPC620 standard.
- Ensure work is completed on time and in line with customers’ requirements
- Be flexible to work in other departments as required.
- Liaise with colleagues, clients and suppliers as appropriate.
- Training and mentoring of others as required, e.g. trainees and apprentices
Skills
- Electrical & Electronic Assembly & Rework experience.
- Understanding of standards ISO9001, IPC610 / 620 & 7711/21.
- Soldering/Desoldering
- Wiring
- Self-inspection.
- Computer literate.
